WEEK 10 (25/5/2025) :Consultation Session With Sir Rosli


Consultation on Report Progress: Our groups meeting with Sir Rosli to discuss the status of their reports. This would involve reviewing drafts, discussing challenges, getting feedback on content, structure, and data analysis. Sir Rosli, seen on the right in the batik shirt, is engaging in conversation with us, which is typical for a consultation.
Consultation on Video Presentation Progress:
Similarly, we are likely seeking guidance and feedback on their video presentations. This could involve discussing concepts, scripts, visual elements, technical aspects, and overall presentation flow.   WEEK 10 (26/5/2025): Service Innovation by Ruma Puteh Homestay

Service Innovation Recommendation

1. Install white insects nets & mosquitoes net around the house windows, outer walls, and the sides of swimming pool to prevent insects from entering the house. This is crucial as during the harvesting season, open burning in paddy fields are common and this causes insects to fly and invade nearby houses 

2. Upgrade our booking system by developing our own website. This will help us to reduce dependency on third-party platforms and allow us to control the booking process. Next, we plan to implement pricing rates that can be adjusted according season, demand, and festive season to ensure affordability while maintaining quality.

3. We plan to enhance visibility and accessibility by ensuring our homestay is accurately pinned and easily found on navigation apps like Google Maps and Waze. This will help customers to find homestay’s location easier and minimize hassle. 

4. Lastly, we plan to strengthen our presence on social media such as Tiktok, Instagram reels, and instagram stories. We aim to highlight unique features in our homestay to attract more visitors. We also plan to collaborate with influencers or public figures to experience and review their stay at our homestay. By doing so, they can share their experiences through social media and reviews where it will increase visibility of our homestay and build trust among potential customers/visitors.
